Application Process

  1. Submit your Written Application

Your written application, which will be submitted through the MƒA website, will need to include:

Written responses: You will respond to three - four prompts about the value your previous MƒA fellowship provided for your students and colleagues and your plan to expand your influence and impact in another MƒA fellowship.

Contact Information for One Reference: You will solicit a reference from someone who currently holds an MƒA fellowship and whose relationship with you has been strengthened through collaboration at MƒA.

Observation Report: You will submit your most recent formal or informal observation report.

  2. Interview Decision

After submitting your written application, you will either be: accepted early decision for an MTII+ Fellowship, invited to interview for an MTII+ Fellowship, or invited to apply to MƒA Emeritus.

Some applicants are accepted without an interview based on the strength of their written application. Other applicants are invited to a finalist interview. Applicants who are not selected for early decision or invited to interview are invited to apply for the MƒA Emeritus program.

  3. Interview

Interviews, which are 30 minutes long, are conducted virtually by MƒA staff. The purpose of interviews is to gain a deeper understanding of applicants' responses to their written response questions around how applicants have advanced their influence, thought leadership, and practices as a result of their prior MƒA fellowship(s).

  4. Acceptance Notification

Final fellowship award decisions will be sent in mid-March
