In a new feature that appeared in EdTech Focus on K-12 Magazine reporter Meghan Bogardus Cortez explores MƒA’s highly competitive fellowships and the variety of personalized, teacher-led professional development offered each semester. Both MƒA Executive Director Megan Roberts and MƒA Master Teacher Patrick Honner speak about MƒA’s structure of learning and the opportunities given to teachers that enable them to continue to grow in their careers:
“We’re trying to build community in really intentional ways that teachers need,” says Roberts. “We try to respect and recognize teachers at every turn. Really, we try to be a catch-all for the highly-accomplished teachers who might choose to leave the profession.”
