Kiara Rodriguez

Kiara Rodriguez is the Associate Director of Program Operation and Events at MƒA. In this role, she manages the planning and operations of MƒA’s robust course programming offerings for the teacher community.

Prior to her role at MƒA, Kiara dedicated two years to serving as an AmeriCorps Member at City Year and AmeriCorps Vista, at the Office of Community Schools. It was during this experience that her passion for working with young people truly blossomed. In addition, Kiara also spent time as a Community School Associate as a Student & Family Engagement Coordinator and a Community School Director at Center for Supportive Schools where she honed her commitment to cultivating positive educational environments for students and providing valuable education-focused spaces for teachers.

Kiara holds a B.A. in Communications from SUNY, University of Albany, and an M.A. in Youth Studies from the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Beyond her professional endeavors, she finds joy in planning creative events. In her free time, she enjoys painting, cooking, and learning new hobbies.
