Howard Morgan, Ph.D. is Chair of B Capital, an investment fund that specializes in global technology companies and a founder and board member of Idealab. Since 1989, Dr. Morgan has served as President of Arca Group, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the areas of computers and communications technologies. Dr. Morgan was a Professor of Decision Sciences at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Professor of Computer Science at the Moore School of the University of Pennsylvania from 1972 through 1986. He was a cofounder of Renaissance Technologies and of First Round Capital. He serves on the boards of a number of private companies and as a Trustee Cornell, New York Public Libarary and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories. Dr. Morgan received his Ph.D. in operations research from Cornell University.
