Elisa López is Program Coordinator of Research and Evaluation at MƒA. In this role, Elisa primarily collects and analyzes data to examine the state of our program and our impact.
Prior to this position, Elisa supported the admissions process for MƒA NY’s fellowship programs as an Admissions Associate for three years. Before coming to MƒA, Elisa was a fellow in the Atlas Corps Fellowship Program in Bogotá, Colombia, where she directed fundraising efforts for a local nonprofit and managed online applications and the interview process of other fellows. She has also served as an English teacher in Colombia, and she has assisted children to meet and exceed grade standards in Math, Reading and Science as an advantage coach at the Score Educational Center in Queens, New York.
Elisa earned her B.A. in Sociology and Education, with a minor in Latin American Studies, from Swarthmore College, and her M.S. in Urban Policy and Leadership from Hunter College. Elisa is a lifelong Jackson Heights resident in love with her community.
